Lumbee Tribal Chairman Speaks at Law Enforcement Memorial to Honor Fallen Officers

Law Enforcement from across the region joined at Robeson Community College on Thursday to pay tribute to law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty in honor of National Police Week. It was the 30th Annual Robeson County Executive Law Enforcement Officers’ Association Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony. Lumbee Tribal Chairman John Lowery was the guest speaker for the ceremony. National Police Week is observed every year in May throughout the United States to pay tribute to the local, state, and federal officers who have died or disabled, in the line of duty.
