Development is Underway for the District 1 Elders' Community Village in Rowland, NC. The Lumbee Tribe of N.C. has many single family construction projects underway throughout our service areas of Robeson, Scotland, Hoke and Cumberland Counties. We are proud to announce several housing developments as well. The first is the District 1 Elders Village, designed to create safe and healthy living in the Rowland community. The Enrollment Office will be open Monday - Friday from 8 am till 5 pm to allow you additional time to update or complete your tribal enrollment. October 8th is the last day to Enroll or Update your Lumbee Tribal Enrollment before the Lumbee Tribal Rolls close for the November 9th tribal election. Maryland State Senator Johnny Ray Salling joined a delegation of Lumbee from Baltimore, Maryland who traveled to Pembroke on Tuesday to update their enrollment or enroll with the Lumbee Tribe of N.C.
