To process applications daily, applications will not be accepted after 4 pm.
The Mortgage Pandemic Relief Program (MPRP) is available to all tribal members who reside within the Lumbee tribal territory, throughout the United States, territories, and the District of Columbia.
An “eligible household” is defined as a homeowner household in which at least one or more individuals meets the following criteria:
1. Qualifies for unemployment or has experienced a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs, or experienced a COVID-19 financial hardship after January 21, 2023.
2. Demonstrates a risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability
3. Has a household income at or below 100 percent of the national median income or 150 percent of the area median income--whichever is greater.
Financial Assistance Include
Unpaid mortgages, utilities, internet, homeowner-related insurance, HOA and Condo feeds, property taxes, principle mortgages reduction, and mortgages interest rate reduction.
