Senior Ms. Lumbee Pageant--Applications due May 6, 2022!
The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 Senior Ms. Lumbee pageant. The pageant will be on Saturday, June 18 2022 at Givens Performing Arts Center. Contestants must be ages 55 and up and an enrolled Lumbee Tribal member. Applications are due by May 6, 2022. They are available at the Lumbee Tribal Housing Complex and online at www.lumbeetribe.com

Lumbee Tribal Territory Outreach
Your Lumbee Tribal Staff will be visiting 3 communities across the Lumbee Tribal Territory next week to assist our members. If you need help with applications, information or details about services, please visit our Lumbee Tribe Staff at one of the Outreach locations on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week. On Tuesday the Outreach team will be at Heritage Haven in Fairmont, on Wednesday at First Nation in Allenton, and on Thursday on New Bethel in Rowland and Fairmont

Chairman Lowery Meets with Waccamaw SiouanTribal Council Chairperson Pamela Young-Jacobs
Lumbee Tribal Chairman Lowery recently met with Pamela Young-Jacobs, Tribal Council Chairperson of the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe. Our tribal friendships go back generations. This visit continues to forge the alliance, which strengthen our Nation to Nation relationship.

Community Meeting in the Union Chapel Community--Monday, February 28 at & 7pm
The Lumbee Tribe of N.C. will host a Community Meeting in the Union Chapel Community on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 7:00 pm. The information session will be held in the Union Chapel Community Building on Evergreen Church Rd. Chairman John Lowery and District 8 Councilman Corbin Eddings will be on hand to talk with Tribal members about the Dreamcatcher Projects and Tribal Programs.
