Lumbee US Army PFC Christian Oswalt Laid Wreath at Lincoln Memorial in DC
The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina shares great pride today with the family of United States Army PFC Christian Oswalt. On Saturday, Christian laid a wreath at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington in honor of President Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. Christian is the son of Lumbee Basket weaver, Cindy Locklear. He is an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of N.C. Christian is stationed at the Old Guard 3rd Infantry Division in Arlington Virginia. The laying of the wreath is an annual event in honor of President Lincoln’s birthday. Christian is also the grandson of Joy Locklear and the late Jydor Locklear.
