Thank you to everyone who came out to the District 8 "Back to School" Bash. It was a lot of fun with great food and school supplies for the children. Lumbee Tribal Council Representative Kathy Hunt hosted the event at the Union Chapel Community Building. She wished all the children a wonderful return to school and a super school year.

Most of us don't like to think about the end of summer, but beginning this week, the Lumbee Tribe Aquatic Center Pool will only be open on the weekend. The last day of summer season will be Labor Day, which is Monday, September 7, 2026. Come on out the next few weekends and enjoy the beautiful warm weather
