Another Successful Night of Lumbee Tribe Winter Solstice (A Season of Blessings)

Our Lumbee Tribe Winter Solstice (A Season of Blessings) light event opens for a second night at 5:30 pm this afternoon at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center on Terry Sanford Drive in Maxton. The Drive-thru (3) night event is free to the public.

We are so excited to bring holiday joy to our community. But it truly is so special when you see our elders, and some have never been to a light show and they loved it. The first night was very special. The Lumbee Winter Solstice event will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. This weekend will be only lights. Visitors are required to remain in their vehicle. Drivers may listen to holiday music once they arrive at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center by tuning your car radio to Channel 104.9 radio.

The event is paid for with NAHASDA Cares Act Funding and BCBSNC Blue Cross Blue Shield of N.C.
