Pembroke, NC (September 10, 2026) – The Lumbee Tribal Council is providing a follow-up notice regarding the upcoming Discretionary Public Hearings (“Public Hearing”) being held for the purpose of providing a meaningful way for enrolled tribal citizens to provide comments concerning a draft gaming ordinance.
On September 4, 2026, a notice was issued setting the public hearing dates, times, and locations. As described in that notice, the draft gaming ordinance and hearing/comment protocol was posted on September 8, 2026, on the Lumbee Member Portal under the tab “GAMING ORDINANCE.”
Tribal citizens are encouraged to visit the Lumbee Member Portal to view additional detailed information.
