Mark your calendar! You are invited to the Foster Family Information Fair on Saturday October 17, 2026. The Lumbee Tribe of NC in partnership with Healthy Blue Care Together is excited to host the Information Fair from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at the Pembroke Boys & Girls Club at 120 Youth Dr. in Pembroke, NC.

There is an urgent need for loving foster homes in our community. As of today, The Lumbee Tribe Indian Child Welfare Department (ICWA) has received over 500 notifications nationwide involving Lumbee children who are in Foster Care. If you have ever considered becoming a foster parent, now is the time to learn more! Come ask questions, learn about the process, and discover how you can make a difference in a child’s life! Community resources will be available and Lunch will be provided!
