We Still Believe

Congratulations to some of our Lumbee Tribal Citizens and community members who were recently recognized by Ag Carolina Farm Credit for completing Ag Biz Planner courses.

Congratulations to some of our Lumbee Tribal Citizens and community members who were recently recognized by Ag Carolina Farm Credit for completing Ag Biz Planner courses. Participants in the courses completed online learning modules and attended a leadership conference held in Raleigh. At the leadership conference, participants were able to network with other Farm Credit participants throughout five states and learn from various speakers.


The 2023-2024 Ag Biz Planner graduates includes: Kim Chavis of Hoke County, James Chavis of Hoke County, Duncan Locklear of Robeson County, Ethan Locklear of Robeson County, Brian Jacobs of Pitt County, LeAnn Melvin of Robeson County, Kevin Melvin of Robeson County, William Tanner of Sampson County and Brian Whitfield of Granville County. The Lumbee tribal members participation was sponsored by the Native American Agriculture Fund.
