A Night of Healing
Stop the Pain in partnership with the Burnt Swamp Baptist Association, the Lumbee Tribe, and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke will be working together to host A Night of Healing on May 3rd at 6 pm at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center. The event is free and open to everyone and will include food, music, prayer, a memorial service, and access to local mental health providers. Please help us spread the word by sharing the attached flyer within your network, hanging it up at your place of work, or sharing on social media.
We are also looking for individuals willing to share their story of recovery from violence or substance use. If you or someone you know may be interested, please contact us.
