What an exciting day today as our young Lumbee girls look at their potential futures in Science and other exciting careers in STEM at the Project Create Camp. Thank you to Robeson Community College and their instructors Mrs. Amber and Mrs. Oliva for inviting Ms. Janeva Moore, Parent Liaison; Project Create, to speak to their students at their "Roots to Remedy" Camp. These students are in 9th - 12th grade. Ms. Janeva spoke about her career as a woman in STEM and how important pharmacy is in the world of medicine. In addition to working with Project Create, Ms. Janeva works in the health field as a EMT and she is studying to be a Pharmacist. The camp is in collaboration with RCC.
