What an incredible day at the Lumbee Tribe Gene Locklear Scholarship Golf Tournament at Bayonet at Puppy Creek. Thank you to everyone who came out to play, support, and help make this event a success. From our teams on the course to our sponsors, volunteers, and staff; your support directly impacts the future of our students. Because of you, we continue to invest in education and create opportunities for the next generation. A special thank you to Gene Locklear for leading this event and his continued dedication to supporting scholarships and uplifting our community. We were proud to host 25 teams and 100 players who came out in support of the great cause of education.
The first place team was Brad Clark, Matt Roller, John Oxendine and Greg Mininni. The 2nd place team was Jr Henderson, John Henderson, Hunter Lowery and Jerry Hines. The 3 closest to the hole winners received cash prizes. The 1 longest drive winner also received a cash prize. Both winning teams received signed baseballs.
