Missing and Murdered Indigenous People’s (MMIP) March and Ceremony

It was a very emotional day on Thursday, May 5, for those that attended the annual Missing and Murdered Indigenous People’s (MMIP) March and Ceremony.


Thank you to those that came and participated. It was a special event that honored and brought awareness to the missing and murdered Indigenous people. Charly Lowry and Alexis Raeana Jones performed perform their hit song "Keep my Memory," and other songs as they remember those who are missing or murdered.

Speakers spotlighted this important issue, reinforcing the fact that this is impacting all of Indian Country. This event was sponsored by the Lumbee Tribe of N.C. and Native Visions.
