Tickets are still available for Strike at the Wind! This weekend, see one of North Carolina's most powerful untold stories come to life under the open sky at the historic Adolph Dial Amphitheater as the drama celebrates 50 years.

The remaining dates are July 10, 11, 17, and 18, 2026. Tickets are $10.

Set in the aftermath of the Civil War, the outdoor drama tells the true story of Henry Berry Lowrie, an American Indian man born near present-day Pembroke who, after the Confederate Home Guard murdered his father and brother, led a seven-year resistance that shook Robeson County to its core.

To those in power, Henry and his gang were outlaws. To the Native community and most of the citizens in Robeson County, they were heroes.

Tickets may be purchased at the gate at the Adolph Dial Amphitheater at Terry Sanford Drive in Maxton, NC or click here to purchase online at Givens Performing Arts Center.
