Thank you to everyone who came out this afternoon to Missing and Murdered Indigenous People March

Thank you to everyone who came out this afternoon to remember our loved ones who were taken and bring awareness to the issue of (MMIP) Missing and Murdered Indigenous People. Dozens of people marched in the (MMIP) Missing and Murdered Indigenous People March this afternoon. The march began at the Art Market (Former Shoe Shop) in Pembroke and it ended at the Pembroke Park, which was the location of the MMIP Ceremony. The event was sponsored by the Lumbee Tribe of N.C. and Native Visions Magazine. Thank you to all the families who came out to share their stories, give a voice to their family members and support each other. Also thank you to all the program participants and Miss Lumbee, Mahlea Hunt for sharing her platform at the event.
