Today the Lumbee Tribe had the opportunity to host the NC ROOTS (NC Rural Organizations Orchestrating Transformation for Sustainability) Region 5 Regional Advisory Board meeting.

This board was established by Trillium to provide regional stakeholder engagement, community informed guidance, strategic advice, and recommendations concerning the implementation of NCRHTP initiatives within Region 5.

The role and purpose of the board is:

• Supports community-driven, equitable health outcomes across primary care, behavioral health, workforce development, value-based payment, and digital health initiatives.

• Connects local healthcare providers, public health agencies, and community-based organizations

Tammy Maynor, our Director of Governmental Affairs, had an opportunity to thank Trillium for their continued support of our tribal health initiatives and share about the scope of work of the Lumbee Tribe for our citizens
