Lumbee Landowners, you are invited to a meeting to discuss how you have been impacted by flooding and other large rain events, and barriers to financial success for private landownership and long-term landownership.

The meeting host, the N. C. Foundation for Soil and Water Conservation in cooperation with the Lumbee Tribe Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and the Working Lands Trust, hope that landowners will share their local knowledge of repeated flooded areas and any viable solutions that have worked to lessen impacts.

Another topic to be discussed is related to long-term land ownership and rural lands protection. There are a variety of tools available to private landowners to assist them in maintaining their ownership.

RSVP by emailing Larry Edwards: ledwards@lumbeetribe.com
