This week as the school year kicked off across the region, Lumbee Tribal Council District 8 Representative Kathy Hunt presented school supplies to Principal Billy Haggans and the staff at Union Chapel Elementary School. The supplies included bags, paper, pens and crayons to students. "I'm excited to give back to my community to help our students get ready for a successful school year," said Mrs. Kathy.
