This afternoon, Tribal Chairman Lowery welcomed home, Eric Hunt, who is one of our most visionary Lumbee artists.

This afternoon, Tribal Chairman Lowery welcomed home, Eric Hunt, who is one of our most visionary Lumbee artists. Eric was home from Florida where he is a Creative Director for United Parks and Resorts. Eric started out as a young artist and illustrator in the Lumbee Tribal Territory, and you can find his designs at churches, schools, and he was even a map illustrator in the beginning. 

Today, Eric is an award-winning designer for entertainment, film, and theme parks. He put his mark on animation for the creation for the Harry Potter attraction, Hog Warts Castle and the Transformers. He also worked as a Senior Director of Creative Design for Universal. 

Eric is the son of former Lumbee Tribal Council Member Rudophus “Doc” Hunt.
