Thank you to North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson for visiting the Lumbee Tribe Housing Complex this afternoon. During a meeting with Chairman Lowery and Tammy Maynor, Director of Governmental Affairs, Jackson had an opportunity to discuss issues affecting the Lumbee Tribe, including Full Federal Recognition, proposed impacts of Full Federal Recognition on tribal programs, current outreach, tribal housing, domestic violence issues and much more.

Robeson County District Attorney Matt Scott joined the conversation. He also discussed the impact Full Federal Recognition will have on crime and how passing of our legislation will be a catalyst for growth across the region.
