Thank you to everyone who came out to the District 10 Community Meeting. Residents in the Rennert community had an opportunity to hear about all the progress and opportunities happening across the Lumbee Tribal Territory. Tribal Chairman Lowery and the administrative team talked about the construction of the Lumbee Senior Village in the Rennert community which is under construction and will feature nine duplexes for 18 residents. Infrastructure is underway and the home construction is expected to begin by the end of the year. The team also discussed other programs such as the Ag Department’s new programs for agriculture producers. The managers spotlighted construction projects which are underway across the four county tribal territory. The meeting was hosted by District 10 Councilman Bobby Emanuel. The guest enjoyed a great dinner and some fun prizes.
