Project CREATE hosted its first STEM Night on Monday, March 2, 2026, at the Hawkeye Boys & Girls Club in Hoke County. This event, in collaboration with the Hoke County Indian Education Department, engaged students in eight STEM activities. Students participated in hands-on activities, including making ice cream with coffee creamer, painting pictures with micropipettes, identifying scents with their olfactory nerves, and learning about the human body by making slime. Thank you to Hoke County Schools and Indian Education for collaborating in this event, as well as NC BioNetwork. Educating our students impacts the world.
