Lumbee Tribe of N.C. Opens New Dreamcatcher Raynham Administrative Office and New playground

Thank you to everyone who came out this afternoon to celebrate with us as we held the ribbon cutting for the new DreamCatcher Raynham Administrative building and new community playground. This is the 3rd ribbon cutting that the Lumbee Tribe has held in the Raynham Community in the past nine months. The 3100 square feet administrative building will be utilized for Property Management of DreamCatcher Raynham, Warriors' Way Veteran Village and outreach programs such as cultural class, community meetings, and Elders groups, just to name a few. This building has a full kitchen, administrative office, multi-purpose room, bathrooms, and storage. The DreamCatcher Raynham community currently consists of 23 Units, with 11 rental units occupied and 12 under construction. The DreamCatcher homes are rental properties, which offer affordable housing to our Lumbee families.

In addition to the playground, there will also be a 20 x 40 basketball court in the community to promote exercise and healthy living for tribal members and their families.
