The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina is honored to invite you to our Federal Recognition Celebration on Saturday, May 16, 2026. We welcome our Lumbee Citizens, our community, our neighbors, our supporters in Federal Recognition, and YOU to this grand celebration at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. It will be a momentous day to join us in celebration of this historic and joyous achievement!
The celebration will begin at 9 am and continue through 9 pm. Join us for the food, great fellowship, a gospel singing, a mini-powwow, guest speakers, light show and much more! It will be hosted at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in the Quad area between Old Main and the Mary Livermore Library. It is our honor to partner with UNC Pembroke and Chancellor Cummings to host this special day.
We are welcoming vendors to setup for this special event. Apply at the link below.
Event Vendor Fee: $200 (art/craft, beverage, sweets) - $300 (food vendors).
The Vendor Set-up Time is May 15, 2026 8:00 am - 6:00 pm (no exceptions). The Registration deadline is April 15, 2026. Vendors must set-up the entire time of the event.
