It’s time to Read Across America
It’s time to Read Across America. Many schools across the nation began the reading campaign today. Lumbee Tribal Chairman Lowery kicked off the week by reading to all of the first grade classes at Deep Branch Elementary. He read 2 books and got lots of smiling looks! The Chairman felt right at home as a former educator. He encourages everyone to read every day, but especially parents read to your children.
