Coharie Tribal Chief Gene Jacobs with 94-year-old World War II veteran, the Rev. W.L. Ammon, and Tribal Councilman Alex Brewington. The Coharie tribal members were among a crowd of about 120 people to attend a program the Lumbee Tribe hosted Wednesday about the new Indian veterans monument in Washington D.C.

The program featured guest speaker Kevin Gover, director of the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington D.C.
