Mr. Micheal wins 4 tickets to the Fayetteville Woodpeckers Baseball game this Saturday. He also wins four Lumbee Tribal hand fans. This giveaway is an incentive to encourage our Lumbee Tribal Members to update now to avoid a rush when Enrollment closes in October. Because of the upcoming Lumbee Tribal Elections, the Lumbee Tribe of NC’s Enrollment Office will close on October 14, 2022. The Lumbee Tribal Rolls are mandated under Lumbee Tribal Law to close 30 days prior to any tribal election. The Tribal Rolls will re-open 30 days after certification of the tribal election. Without an updated enrollment, you are unable to vote in the Lumbee Elections. An expired enrollment card may also delay services for members who need help. If you didn't win tickets, you can still purchase tickets for online for the game on Saturday.

  • Lumbee Tribal Chairman Lowery Meets with Elder Group Leaders

    Lumbee Tribal Chairman Lowery recently met with the presidents of the 16 Lumbee Elder Groups. Chairman Lowery gave the elder group leaders recent updates on tribal programs and services as well as a Federal Recognition update. He also opened the floor for discussion around issues and items important to the Elder Groups. The 16 Elder Clubs are located across the Lumbee Tribal Territory in Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson and Scotland Counties.   • Lumbee Tribal Fall Festival & Fish Fry

    You are Invited to the Lumbee Tribe Fall Festival & Fish Fry on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center. The day kicks off with a 5K Fun Run/Walk. The registration is from 8 am to 9 am and the 5K Fun Run/Walk will begin at 9 am. The day will also feature gospel singing, Stickball demonstrations, Lumbee Cultural demonstrations by Lumbee Artisans and a FREE Fish Lunch (While supplies last.)

    The Lumbee Tribe of NC Housing Complex will close at 3 pm except for the Boys & Girls Clubs tomorrow , 9/2/22. All Tribal offices will be closed Monday, 9/3/22, for the Labor Day Holiday.

Starting next week, if you update your enrollment Monday, August 29-Friday, September 2, you could win this “Enrollment Goody Bag Package.” The goody bag includes a shirt, tote, 2 cups, lanyard, fan chapstick, as well as disinfectant wipes! Each week over the next 4 weeks, Lumbee Tribal Members who update your enrollment will be registered to win a variety of goodies! Because of the upcoming Lumbee Tribal Elections, the Lumbee Tribe of NC’s Enrollment Office will close on October 14, 2022.
