- Hurricane Ian Briefing from National Weather Service
Ian is expected to bring some impacts to the Carolinas by the end of the week, especially Friday and Saturday. Potential impacts include: heavy rainfall/flooding, coastal flooding, wind gusts to tropical storm force, and isolated tornadoes. Please note that gusty winds associated with the gradient between Ian and strong high pressure located to the north are expected Thursday. These winds will also likely result in minor coastal flooding with each high tide on Thursday.
