The Golden State Warriors host the Dallas Mavericks in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals!
The Golden State Warriors lock horns with the Dallas Mavericks in Game 2 of the NBA Western Conference Finals at Chase Center on Friday. Tipoff is at 9 p.m. ET.
The Golden State Warriors' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Dallas Mavericks at 9 p.m. ET May 20 at Chase Center. Golden State will be strutting in after a win while Dallas will be stumbling in from a loss.
The Warriors are hoping for another victory. They made easy work of Dallas on Wednesday and carried off a 112-87 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Dubs had established an 88-69 advantage. The top scorers for Golden State were point guard Stephen Curry (21 points), small forward Andrew Wiggins (19 points), and shooting guard Jordan Poole (19 points).
Golden State is expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Indiana Pacers Jan. 20 easily too and instead slipped up with a 121-117. In other words, don't count the Mavericks out just yet.
Stephen Curry scored 21 points and pulled in a game-high 12 rebounds and Luka Doncic was held to 20 points on 6 for 18 shooting as the Warriors cruised to a 112-87 Game 1 victory. Spencer Dinwiddie and Jalen Brunson added 17 and 14 points, respectively, but Golden State’s home-court advantage was just too much for Dallas to handle. The Mavs lost their previous Game 1 matchups against the Jazz and Suns, while Golden State has led 1-0 in each round of the 2022 playoffs.
Can the Mavs rebound to make it 1-1, or will Golden State take a 2-0 lead? We’re about to find out. From start time to live stream info, here’s how to watch Game 2 of the Warriors-Mavericks series live online.

Game 2 of the 2022 NBA Western Conference Finals is at Golden State’s Chase Center. The winner of the best-of-seven series between the Warriors and Mavericks will progress to the NBA Finals.
The Golden State Warriors came out and made a statement in their Game 1 demolition of the Dallas Mavericks.
Interestingly, Golden State did the most damage on the defensive end of the floor while holding Luka Doncic to just 20 points on 6-of-18 shooting. The Warriors contested everything, with Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green doing the most damage on Doncic.
According to ESPN, Golden State held Doncic to just 16.7 percent shooting on contested field-goal attempts, a career playoff low for the Slovenian.
Steve Kerr will be aware that holding a player of Doncic's quality to those numbers again will be a tough task, but the Warriors will be looking to take a commanding 2-0 lead in this series.
For the Mavericks, Jason Kidd will have some adjustments to make on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he'll need to figure out a way to break through the Dubs' defense and get into the paint. In Game 1, they attempted 48 3-pointers, connecting on just 11.
