Proposals are invited for papers and panels which address the study of American Indians in the Southeast cultural area. Topics may include academic or creative works on: archaeology, history, socio-cultural issues, religion, literature, oral traditions, art, identity, sovereignty, health and other matters. Proposals are welcome from academic scholars, students and community leaders. Paper presenters should plan for a
twenty-five minute presentation. Panels of two to four presenters will be scheduled for ninety-minute periods.
