Belief Statement: My mission is to support and assist the Lumbee Tribe while promoting a life style saturated with American Indian values and beliefs.  As an elected official of the Lumbee Tribal Council, I take the responsibility of working tirelessly to help implement and maintain a network between Lumbee Indians and the potential support which can be gained from other community agencies.  I commit whole heartedly to advocating for American Indian Child Welfare.  As we have launched a campaign through the Lumbee Tribe Health and Human Services committee, of which I am the Chairwoman, it is my intent to focus on improving the lives of Lumbee Children and their families.
To ensure children grow up safe, healthy and spiritually strong is my objective.
To improve the lives of Lumbee families by helping the Lumbee Tribe bridge the gap with other service providers to implement services that are culturally competent, community based, and focused on the strengths and assets of families.
It is my goal as a representative of you the Lumbee people, to protect the most vital resource of the Lumbee Tribe- our children.
