TRIBAL ROLLS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR THIS YEAR

ENROLLMENT APPLICATION

Applications for tribal enrollment are available at the Tribal Offices or may be downloaded below. All instructions must be followed.

Applicant should have all requested documents and a completed application prior to their scheduled appointment. No applications will be processed without supporting documentation and a complete application. Applicant must bring application at the time of their scheduled appointment. No applications will be accepted by mail.

All persons applying for enrollment must appear at the Office of Tribal Enrollment and Records during their scheduled appointment.

REPLACEMENT CARDS/RE-CERTIFICATION

Beginning July 1, 2007, updated replacement cards (re-certifications) for current members will be issued on Monday thru Friday on a walk-in basis from 8:30 a. m. - 4:30 p.m.The office will prospectively close for lunch at 12:00 for one hour, unless otherwise posted.

As enacted by the Tribal Council, beginning June 23, 2007 every member who comes in after this date will have an expiration date of seven years from the date of re-certification, regardless of whether they live inside the tribal territory (Robeson, Scotland, Hoke, and Cumberland Counties) or out.  The deadline for re-certifying cards has been extended until June 23, 2009.  This deadline is for everyone.

To update their information tribal members must appear at the Office of Tribal Enrollment and Records and present their old enrollment card, a driver’s license or picture identification, and a certified birth certificate with parents names listed.  Exceptions are those who are incapacitated, incarcerated, elderly (55 years of age or older), or members of the Armed Forces of the United States.  Under these circumstances, individuals may authorize someone to act on their behalf.

Senior citizens, age 62 and older, cards are free of charge. Enrolled members under the age of 18 will be issued a verification form free of charge in lieu of card by request of parent.. For a fee of $5 a new tribal enrollment card can be obtained.

The Enrollment Office will be closed on the following dates for archiving:

  • Prospectively the last full week of each month. Call for more info.

For replacement of lost card $8
For renewal of card or tribal membership $5
Certificate of Indian Blood $30
Verification of enrollment FREE
