Non-Profit & Faith Based Org's. Wanted

The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina announces the availability of grant funds for agencies to provide emergency food assistance to tribal members.  These funds are to be used for the purpose of purchasing food for distribution to low income Lumbee households.  Eligible grantees include nonprofit groups and faith based organizations.  If interested in applying for the grant, you may obtain a copy of the grant application at the Office of Tribal Enrollment and Records located at the Tribal Offices located at 707 Union Chapel Road in Pembroke.

Completed grant applications must be postmarked by no later than Wednesday, January 14, 2009.  You may also hand deliver the completed application to the Office of Tribal Enrollment and Records no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2009.  For further information please contact Ruth B.
