(December 2010) The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina will be hosting a Christmas tour of homes throughout the tribal territory on December 12th from 1p.m. until 5p.m. All of the proceeds for this event will be going toward the Indian Health Clinic. Hosts that will be showing their homes are Dr. Cheryl Locklear, Karen and Eric Locklear, Lesa Jacobs, Chairman Purnell Swett, Kellie and Jonathan Blue, Demetrius and Johnny Hunt, Hope and Gary Strickland, Lesa and Bryan Maynor, Dr. Rose Marie and Larry Townsend, Sarah and Chancellor Kyle Carter, Bobbie and Abdul Ghaffar, and Jackie and Dexter Clark. These houses will be on display and decorated with holiday cheer. The event is open to the general public and will be self guided. Tickets are on sale now at the Lumbee Tribal Housing Complex.
